Emilie Teacher
A professional jeweler and metalsmith since 1978 Emilie has been actively exhibiting her work in jured shows throughout the country. She earned her B.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts in Newyork City and her Art Teacher Certification from CCSU. Emilie taught jewelry classes at the Farmington Valley Art Center for 16 years before leaving to start their our school in 2004.
Mike Teacher
Well-known in the area as a craftsperson, workworker and a jeweler. Mike worked with wood and metal for 15 years before turning his talents to jewelry making in 1997. After training under Emilie, they opened the CT School of Jewelry Art in 2004 where he makes beautiful jewelry when he is not teaching classes.
