Class A (with Emilie Cohen) 8 Wednesdays beginning Mar 18th - 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Class B (with Michael Pundy) 8 Mondays beginning Mar 16th - 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Jewelry I

Learn the basic skills needed to begin designing and fabricating your own handmade jewelry! No previous experience is necessary. Techniques for sawing, piercing, soldering, gem stone setting and polishing silver will be introduced. you will complete at least two projects, which will include learning how to make a pendant and bezel set a cabochon gem stone on a ring. Your final piece will be of jewelry store quality. Please bring a one time lab fee $30.00 and a materials fee of $45.00 for your silver (depending on the market price) to the first class.

Jewelry II

Continue to hone your metalsmithing skills in jewelry II, learn techniques like scoring to bring your pieces into the 3rd dimension as well work with the hydraulic press to dome or imprint a design.
